How to perform

  1. Stand tall or sit upright with a kettlebell in the “rack” position at shoulder height
  2. Keep your wrist straight and elbow slightly in front of your body
  3. Brace your core and squeeze your glutes to avoid leaning back
  4. Press the kettlebell overhead until your arm is straight and your biceps are near your ear
  5. Keep your shoulder down and avoid shrugging toward your ear
  6. Lower the kettlebell slowly back to the rack position with control
  7. Breathe out as you press and breathe in as you lower
  8. Use a light weight first and stop if you feel shoulder pain
