How to perform

  1. Stand a few feet in front of a bench or sturdy platform
  2. Hold one or two kettlebells at your sides or at chest level
  3. Place the top of one foot behind you on the bench
  4. Keep your front foot flat and torso tall
  5. Bend both knees and lower straight down under control
  6. Lower until your front thigh is near parallel to the floor
  7. Push through your front heel to stand back up
  8. Complete all reps, then switch legs
